PERFORMANCY FORUM: QUINQUENNIAL (website here with documentation)
PF: QUINQ was a 12-day conference of live performance, talks, discussions, workshops, and curatorial projects, October 8-October 25, 2015.
conference = a situation during which persons confer
conference = a “con” like “comicon” for makers and fans
conference = a culmination of a period of labor
conference = states of being and becoming together.
The conference was performatively organized in 3 Layers by Esther Neff and Brian McCorkle :
LAYER 1: Was performed as a sequence of diagram-interviews performed in person and online, for TAR Magazine and as part of APAB’s Curating Performance Art as Artistic Practice conference in May 2015 in Berlin. Following this one-year period, 12 AGENDAS were synthesized from the diagram interviews into the list of agendas listed below. Fill out the diagram-interview here: http://www.panoplylab.org/research/
LAYER 2: Abstracts by invited participants and open call respondees were made/written in reaction and relation to the 12 AGENDAS. They were then published HERE.
